Provide unique information<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is common to use an audio tour or pillars of information to explain the story around an exhibition. By deploying AR content, you can tell the story in a unique way. For instance, you can visualise digital elements over the real artwork. The digital elements offer information about the particular artwork or a space. This information can be visualised with augmented reality. In this way, you offer visitors the opportunity to delve further into a particular work of art or a space in the museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-pink-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">2. Creating a new experience<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Augmented reality allows you to visualise digital elements over reality. This way, you can let visitors relive historical events. For example, show how a city district has changed over time. But you can also highlight &#8216;hidden&#8217; details in a painting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-pink-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">3. Offering a personalised visit<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AR encourages people to participate during their visit. Offer visitors the opportunity to plan their own tour based on interests. But you can also offer the younger target group more interaction using small games. First, the technology must be relevant to visitors, therefore it must also be meaningful. Thus, AR content should reinforce the story surrounding the exhibition or object&#8217;s current situation. In addition, it should be accessible to everyone. Therefore, offer tablets that allow every visitor to use the technology. Finally, it is important to provide space for the digital elements to be projected. For instance, it does not make sense to visualise a 3-metre-long digital element in a 2-metre space.
