360-degree photo
The purpose of a virtual tour with 360-degree photos is the same as with video. We want to give the viewer a unique view of your organisation. The name says it all, for this solution we use static images instead of video. The solution is more approachable and suitable for virtual tours. The pictures are qualitative and also offer the possibility of interaction. The virtual tour with 360-degree photos is also made interactive by using hotspots. The user can determine the route himself.
Matterport
It is also possible to set up a virtual tour using Matterport. To create a Matterport 3D tour, the environment is scanned with special equipment. Through the 3D model, the user experiences whether he is actually in the environment. Again, the user has the possibility of interaction and can determine his own route. The difference with a 360-degree photo tour is that a Matterport is a realistic scan. Unlike with video and photo, the outcomes can no longer be edited.
