Geert Groote Huis Museum
VR experience

For the Geert Groote Huis museum, we created a 3D reconstruction of the situation around the year 1500, based on archaeological research. In this Virtual Reality Experience, visitors are introduced to the living environment of Geert Groote.

From Archaeological research to VR experience

Based on archaeological research, the living environment of Geert Groote’s followers has been reconstructed in 3D. An archaeological team carried out research to reconstruct the situation in the best possible way. Based on archaeological and historical research, Total Reality developed, improved, embellished and made the 3D models usable for Virtual Reality.

Navigation through the environment in VR

Visitors can move around the environment by gazing. This eliminates the need to use controllers. These often do not work well in museums because of battery life or lack of knowledge of the visitors. Gazing is a solution where people only have to look at a certain point and thereby navigate to the next place. It is basically a mouse controlled by your eyes.

Total Reality did a fantastic job of fulfilling our requirements for a VR experience.
