Hardware linking with VR
For this VR application a link has been made with the existing control system of Hetronic. This system converts input from the remote controller to values that are converted in the VR training. Total Reality has developed a module that reads the values directly from the hardware and converts them into usable control data for the Virtual Reality simulation. By linking the actual control consoles to the virtual environment, employees learn to use the machine in the most realistic way. Accidents, failure and training costs are reduced.
