We moved to Kennispark Twente!

After 7 years we have exchanged our trusted office in the center of Enschede for our new office building in Kennispark Twente. Where we started in 2015 as a spin-off of Twinsense with 360 degree videos, we have now grown into an XR company with virtual, augmented and mixed reality solutions for the industry. We are currently working on the realization of an XR Experience Room in our new building. A unique space in which we let people experience the added value of augmented, virtual and mixed reality.

Why we moved? We asked Maurice Kruse, CEO of Total Reality.

Why did we choose Kennispark Twente?

“Kennispark Twente in Enschede is one of the top 3 innovation campuses in the Netherlands and one of the most entrepreneurial in Europe. Various entrepreneurs, government and knowledge institutions (such as the University of Twente) are combining their knowledge and strengths to make a difference. The innovative character of Kennispark Twente appeals to us and suits our company. 2022 will undoubtedly be the year in which new initiatives will arise for Total Reality. That is why we see this as a great next step!”

What do you want to achieve with the XR Experience Room?

“Now that we are located in Kennispark Twente, we are busy building an XR Experience Room. We want to offer companies and students the opportunity to experience VR, AR and MR. In the XR Experience Room we give demonstrations to show the added value of the technology. Examples of demonstrations are assembling a machine with AR or following a training in VR. By making the technology accessible, it is also embraced faster.”

How’s the new ILC platform going?

“Things are going really well at the moment! We have been working extremely hard on the development of our ILC platform for two years now. A number of companies are currently testing the ILC platform as a launching customer.” As a launching customer, companies can test the ILC platform for free in exchange for feedback. For example, Kaak uses the platform to improve their assembly processes. With results! The process is more efficient and the staff is embracing the new way of working. “There will be a panel in the XR Experience Room. Via the panel, companies or students can add instructions to a 3D model themselves. These instructions are then shown with VR, AR or MR on a machine or product in the room. Our goal is also to introduce Kennispark Twente to our ILC platform.”
