Emsflower GmbH is an important player with industrial processes in the horticultural sector. Packaging carts are used to transport plants to the right location in the process. For Emsflower we made a Mixed Reality App which ensures that the placement of planks in packaging carts is considerably accelerated.
Before the app was used, the placement of the shelves in packaging carts was done manually. Employees counted the number of holes on which the shelves had to be placed. This is different for each customer. Employees had to count the insertion holes themselves and adjust the height.
Fast & Efficent
With the Mixed Reality App, the instructions for placing the shelves for the employees are visualized. The employee speaks out loud for which customer he needs the instructions. The correct data is automatically retrieved from the database and virtual shelves appear at the intended height. As a result, the employee can assemble the carts faster and makes fewer mistakes. Using the app saves the company time and provides an efficient way of working.
